Phoenix Artemisia RYT 500, B.A. Psychology, is an Ashtanga Yoga teacher certified by the Ashtanga Yoga Institute of Mount Madonna; she is also certified by Parmarth Niketan Ashram of Rishikesh, India, and Kali Ray TriYoga. She currently studies Iyengar Yoga with Kofi Busia, and Sanskrit with Dr. Sarasvati Mohan. She is a certified Reiki Master Practitioner since 2000. Maureen Morgan's passion for yoga began in 2002. Wanting to delve deeper into the the yogic path she spent a year in an intensive teacher training with Lynne Minton in Anchorage, Alaska. In 2005 she became a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Her style is mainly influenced by B.K.S. Iyengar, but she enjoys practicing Anusara, Vinyasa, Kripalu, and Restorative as well. Maureen has a fun and loving approach to her classes. Now a pleasure point resident she is teaching at Pleasure Point Fitness and Dance and continues her education at Yoga Center Santa Cruz and with Judith Lasater in restorative yoga in San Francisco. In 2008 she became a restorative yoga trainer.

Nathalia is a native of beautiful Colombia where she grew up dancing to an array of Latin beats with a variety of moves! In her twenty years of dancing experience, she has won several dance contests in her native country and choreographed several dance groups. She believes in the positive effects that music exudes and the passion it releases, and dance is her chosen method of portraying her zest for life! Now she is opening the doors to her chosen art: Zumba… a fun workout that blends Latin rhythms with fun aerobic movements, many of which were originally crafted in tropical Colombia!

She has studied the"puro" gypsy dance from the greatest masters from Andalucia Spain, and has performed in tablaos throughout California.

Marisa Herzog/Raks Baraka
Marisa has been belly dancing for over 12 years. An alum of Rossah's Hand of Fatima Dance Tribe, she combines ethnic sensibilities with the inspiration of the Silk Road for a unique folk-fusion style. She dances and teaches with her troupe, Raks Baraka (which roughly means "blessed dance").
